Morris Goldstein was a rabbi of San Francisco's congregation Sherith Israel (1932-1971) and its rabbi emeritus from 1971 to 1984. He was ordained in 1927, and he received his D.H.L. (1949) and his D.D. (1958) from Hebrew Union College, in Cincinnati. Before coming to San Francisco, Goldstein served various congregations in the U.S. and England.
